MUSIC REVIEW: CATHARSIS MODE

Fiction Killer is out to get you once again, and this time with their new single Catharsis Mode.

I must say i've been following this band since the beginning with no idea how this band would sound like. The band name is pretty intense and it makes me think about a serial killer, why? i don't know but it's something about the name that just give me that feeling.

Catharsis Mode starts with an intro which could easily have been in the movie Maniac or any other 80's stalker/slasher movie. The vocals on the verses makes me think of a schitzophrenic person who has voices inside of his head telling him what to do to his next victim. On this song they go back to the heavier stuff which i think fits this band perfect. Again FK deliver yet another masterpiece to their collection.

"It makes me wonder if these guys sat up all night watching 80's slasher movies and thought of "Hey let's make a band and call it Fiction Killer".

You totally should check them out if you already haven't.

MUSIC REVIEW: WAKE UP SCREAMING (SINGLE)

Fiction Killer is out with their second single from their upcoming debut album "Wake Up Screaming". The Title track has a different vibe than their previous single "All my Enemies Are Dead". I really like the mood on this song, it makes me think of a serial killer that are about to stalk his first victim. Overall the song has a very schizophrenic sound to it, which provides you with a great synth based Rock tune. It's really great to see that the music they create really describes the bands name the best possible way... Welcome to the Fiction filled with Killers.

The song will be available April 1st for free on their website...

DOLPH VS ZOMBIES!

The big swede Dolph Lundgren is back again and this time with a movie that really caught my attention.

"I've done a lot of movies that are very similar over the last 20 years, so i'm just trying to get away from that a little bit"- Dolph

This time I'm up against virus-infected human zombies, 'Eaters' as we call them. Max is sent into an infected, abandoned city to find the daughter of a rich industrialist. He gets more than he bargained for. 'I wish I would've asked for money', in Max's own words. Fortunately I enlist some kick-ass run-away robots to help me in battle.

Damn, this sounds awesome. Still no release date on this movie but we'll keep you updated.

PREDATORS SEQUAL?

So far there is no news on a new Predator movie, but there is some rumors that Arnold is wanted for a Predators sequel, if this is true or not still remains to see.

Arnold recently played in the movie The Expendables 2, who also featured action legends Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Jean Claude Van Damme and many more after he quit as a governor. It looks like the Terminator is back for good with 3 new movies coming out this year. He is also wanted in 2 new Terminator movies and a new Conan movie which is titled "The Legend Of Conan" One of his movies Ten (previously known as Breacher) is an upcoming American action thriller, directed by David Ayer is a movie rumored to be like a Predator movie but only different...

Still no news on an upcoming AVP 3 movie. Let's hope they pend out a script and start working on that, because they kinda gave us a clue there was gonna be a another one in AVP: Requiem.

MUSIC REVIEW: ALL MY ENEMIES ARE DEAD (SINGLE)

There was a reason Ty left Requiem For The Dead. So he could form the super group Fiction Killer.

"All My Enemies Are Dead" is the first song released from Fiction Killer's new album "Wake Up Screaming" My first impression of the song was that it sounded good, but after listening to it more and more the song grew on me. I like listen to songs that doesn't get to me instantly because after a while you get sick of them. The song opens with some guy talking about this is not reality before the song bursts into a sound of rock/metal. The song is angry and it makes you want to get in your car and drive fast. I love how they mix rock, metal and hardcore, and let's not forget the catchy chorus that sticks in your head all night long.

The sound of this band is a kick in the face, just the way i like it. Can't wait to hear more from these guys. A band you totally should keep an eye on, they will go far.
